The chemical engineers association(ChEA),nitw alongwith Indian institute of chemical engineers(IIChE),students chapter organised its inaugural event for the academic year 2007-2008 on 4th of this month.
The chief guest on the occassion was Mr.Y Subba Rao,DGM,Heavy Water Plant,Manugui,Khammam district.
The event was presided over by the prominent staff of our college and branch and started with a guru vandana followed by enlightening words by our chief guest.
Issues related to the branch were discussed and the activity of the two associations in the past academic year was also highlighted. The event was a big success and marked just a beginning to the great year ahead for the chemical branch at NITW.
